Our Consignment Process

Step 1

Upload an Image

We like to start by seeing photos of the furniture you'd like to consign. If they're a good fit for our store, one of our associates will be in touch with you to see if we're a good fit for you.

Step 2

Deliver Your Items

Once your items have been approved, you can choose to have our recommended delivery services pick up your pieces (for a fee) or you can bring them to our store.

Step 3

90 Day Display

Your consigned items will be displayed in our showroom for up to 90 days. After 90 days, you can choose to either pick up your unsold items up or have them donated.

Step 4

Get Paid

Design Repeats works on a 50/50% split.  Items reduce monthly over the course of your 90 day in-store display. If your items are sold, we'll mail you a check the following month.

We do not consign accessories, artwork, armoires, antiques or upholstery older than 10 years. We also cannot accept box springs, mattresses, or cribs.

Please note that we only accept current styles. Items must be in ‘like new’ condition. No rips, no stains, no damage, no missing parts. All items are subject to screening and acceptance by our staff. Design Repeats reserves the right to charge for any additional cleaning.

We accept all brands that we think we can help you sell. We've consigned everything from Ikea to Stickley furniture. No gently used furniture is off limits.

We've partnered with a local delivery company who assists our customers with getting large or bulky items out of their house and into our store. Delivery and fees are based on where you are located and how many pieces are being delivered to our store.  Please call us at 303-670-2900 to arrange.

If after 90 days your consigned items have not sold, you can choose to either pick them up or have them donated.  It is your responsibility to keep track of your consignment expiration date.

Design Repeats sets the price on your items.  We take many things into consideration when pricing items such as original cost, name brand, age, and the likelihood of the item selling. We've been doing this for 20 years so our experience in fairly pricing is unmatched and as always we strive to maximize your earnings when your pieces sell

We get new consignment furniture EVERYDAY.  If we approve your items for consignment you can either have our recommended mover bring your items to the store (for a fee) or you can drop your items off during dock hours.

We have "Dock Hours" every day of the week until 5PM . We ask that you bring the proper amount of help to transfer the piece(s) onto our dock as our liability insurance is very specific on what functions our warehouse workers are able to perform. Thanks for your understanding
